ALLEN SILBERMAN

Allen Silberman's achievements span his 30 plus years in corporate America. Here are the highlights:

ALLIED SIGNAL:

Re-engineered and centralized the credit, collections, and cash application function of AlliedSignal Aerospace from 25 locations to one center of excellence:
· $5 billion annual revenue
· Improved DSO by 9 days
· Saved company $193 million in fee cash flow
· Reduced headcount by 61 full time employee (FTE)
· Dollars collected per FTE increased from $28 million to $81 million

HONEYWELL:

Utilizing the Aerospace model, globally centralized all Honeywell and AlliedSignal businesses from 50 locations into 9 centers of excellence:
· Responsible for $24 billion of revenue, credit, and collections
· Reduced headcount by over 100 (from 515 to 415)
· Saved corporation $3.7 million in 2000 and $7 million in 2001
· Centers of Excellence = USA (Arizona) Canada (Toronto) Europe (London, Paris Brussels, Frankfurt) Asia (Shanghai, Singapore, Sydney)
· Reduced Corporate past due receivables from $1.1 billion to $700 million from 12/31/99 to 12/31/01.

Developed a corporate revenue chain strategy and maturity path by implementing Six Sigma:
· Identifying all functions and processes in the order to cash cycle
· Developed metrics and process for each step of the cycle

Implemented automated Discrepancy Management System:
· Identify all disputes and discrepancies
· Identify proper resolvers
· Automatic escalation to next level of management
· Track time to identify and resolve disputes, and collect the money.

AFFILIATIONS:

Allen currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Credit Research Foundation, The Credit Exchange, and the Western Advisory Board of Dun & Bradstreet. He's been a lecturer for over 25 years, giving presentations and running seminars for global organizations such as Foreign Credit Interchange Bureau (FCIB), National Association of Credit Management (NACM), World Trade Institute (WTI), American Management Association (AMA), International Quality & Productivity Center (IQPC), and Dun & Bradstreet (D&B). He served as Chairman of the NACM Aviation Group 1986-1987 and was the recipient of the Credit Executive of the Year by Dun & Bradstreet in 1992. Allen received his accounting and finance degrees from the Bernard Baruch College of the City University of New York.
